Finding Better Health By Supporting Your Endocannabinoid System

If you are frustrated that the health and happiness of you or a loved one isn't being helped by a current treatment, it's very possible this is due to a deficiency of a major bodily system that you likely have never heard of.
It's on the same level as all your other major systems in your body (eg. immune, digestive, nervous), but it was only just discovered in 1988 and is the primary regulating system in your body (it's actually kind of a big deal).
GUESS WHAT!
YOU'VE GOT AN ENDOCANNABINOID SYSTEM!
This system, which is quite simply responsible for maintaining your good health, is called the Endocannabinoid System, or simply ECS.

YOU'VE NEVER HEARD OF IT? YOU'RE NOT ALONE
Sadly, few medical doctors today are aware of, let alone educated in, the functions of the ECS. That is most likely because it was discovered while researchers sought to understand how cannabis (aka marijuana) works in the body, although the active compounds in cannabis are just part of endocannabinoid therapy..

You'll often hear that there's not enough research on the subject of cannabis, but you'll find nearly 14,000 research papers on endocannabinoids within the US government's research site PubMed (search for 'cannabis' and you'll find over 37,000 papers!)
Despite all of that research, medical schools and major hospital systems have been reluctant to even discuss it's existence due to the US government's illogical stance that cannabis/marijuana has no medical benefit, despite tens of thousands of studies that prove otherwise. There are also other political and pharmaceutical forces involved that began over 100 years ago and continue to affect current policies.
My goal is to help others learn of the important value that supporting your ECS can provide.
SO WHAT EXACTLY DOES THE ECS DO?
The Endocannabinoid System is an important modulating network that exists to maintain the balance of every one of the organ systems in your body. All eleven of them! This includes the very important job of regulating the secretion of hormones related to reproductive functions and response to stress.
Simply said, the ECS is absolutely essential to your good health, because if your ECS is not working properly, there's a very good chance you are not well.

WHAT KIND OF 'NOT WELL' ARE WE TALKING ABOUT?
There are dozens of conditions, from minor to life-threatening, that are related to an ECS that is unable to keep up with the job of maintaining balance throughout your body - a balance maintained from head to toe, from conception to death, every second of the day.

BUT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN AN ECS IS WONKY?
A deficiency in endocannabinoid activity can result in increased inflammation of all kinds, among other ills, which can result in autoimmune conditions such as arthritis and is thought to even be a contributor to tumor growth.
Or it can result in the body not able to cope with trauma such as that caused by chemotherapy or physical injury. Anxiety and depression is also influenced by endocannabinoid activity. And that's only the start.
AND THERE'S SOMETHING I CAN DO TO HELP MY ECS?
My intention is to help you learn how to support your ECS through proper nutrition, supplementation and by using cannabinoids safely and effectively. It's a process of simply knowing-what-you're-doing. This is why I'm here to provide education and guidance to help you find the right path towards better health.

My name is Timothy Campisi. You can learn more about me here. My goal is to help you find better health and happiness.
BUT CANNABIS ALWAYS MAKES YOU HIGH, RIGHT?
The most common cannabis product is dried flower to be smoked or vaporized and predominantly contains THC, the cannabinoid that will provide psychoactivity (ie. 'gets you high').
But there are many other cannabinoids that won't cause any psychoactivity but can provide pain relief, a lessening of anxiety, and help with sleep, among many other benefits.

And again, I'm here to help you learn how to make good choices in products and dosing so that your experiences with cannabis are positive and productive.

And I also educate folks on the foods and supplements that are an important part of the wellness equation. I have long followed Functional and Complimentary Medicine doctors who bring a more holistic approach to health, treating the cause of the condition rather than just the symptoms, which western medicine largely focuses.

I am not a medical doctor nor do I sell any products of any kind, and will not ship anything to anyone who is unfortunate enough to live where there's little to no supply of tested cannabis products - a situation for which I am truly sorry.
Luckily, there is a growing availability of quality hemp-based cannabinoid products that are legal in most areas of the North America by mail should there be a lack of good cannabis dispensaries in your area.
And if you do live in a city that has legal cannabis dispensaries, I can help find the right stores that provide the right types of products for your needs.

HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
Right now, our country and the world is confusing and maybe even scary. I want to bring some goodness and healing to whomever I can. My overall intention is to help others to feel healthier and happier. Building trust in my abilities is the most important thing I can earn, for now.
So, at this time, I'm most interested in building a long list of testimonials as to the quality of assistance I have provided. YOUR EDUCATION STARTS HERE
Why Is Tim Dedicated To Providing Cannabinoid Education?
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Tim comes from a family of medical professionals and healers. From a young age, he had an interest in medicine and nutrition, eventually focusing on the fundamentals of functional/integrative/complimentary health care.
His interest in cannabinoid therapy began when his adult niece was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor, and her radiology oncologist recommended she use a measured cannabis tincture an hour before her treatments to improve the effectiveness of the radiation. After losing so many friends and family to cancer, that intriguing recommendation opened Tim's eyes to a whole new world of hope - cannabis as medicine. Relentlessly studying the subject, he quickly realized cannabis' incredible power to treat an enormous range of health conditions. (Though bittersweet, his niece survived for nearly 6 years after being diagnosed, many years longer than most glioblastoma sufferers).

He decided to join the cannabis industry over seven years ago, initially trained at Octavia Wellness which focused on supporting senior clients with cannabinoid therapy, and eventually moving to Caliva, a large California cannabis retailer, where he provided advice and guidance through scheduled phone consultations to their customers (a service that is no longer offered by the company).
Throughout that time, he found that educating others and helping them feel better was the most rewarding job he could imagine.

Recently moving to Portland Oregon to be closer to his children, Tim now believes it is his time to reach out and educate more people than he ever could working for a large company. This website is part of his mission to help others find wellness through the support of their ECS, providing relief to the sufferers of so many medical conditions.

Available to provide extended personal guidance on an elective, fee-based sliding scale, Tim is also happy to make group presentations on a variety of endocannabinoid subjects to any interested organization or group in the Portland Oregon/Vancouver region or through Zoom to anyone anywhere. That includes speaking with your medical practitioner so that they can better understand the strategies being considered.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
(with more on the way)

Stacy
"Tim is very informative and has been on top of communication with us. He has guided us and explained to us what type of tincture would help my father who has stage 4 pancreatic cancer as well as supplements and diets that would help slow the spread.
Tim is very kind and caring and he would reach out to you to see how you’re doing and whether we have concerns, whether it’s 8 in the morning or 8 at night.
I strongly recommend Tim for cannabinoid guidance whether you need help with pain management or you’re fighting cancer."

Maggie
"I have inflammatory arthritis and my doctor referred me to Tim to try cannabis. Since it is not taught in medical schools and shops do not tend to offer medical counselling, my doctor said it was important to go with someone reputable that understood dosing.
Tim checked on me proactively, shared info on the Endocannabinoid system and laws for medical use and identification. He made me feel safer exploring this route when I ran out of options and I have been very happy with the results.
Tim made himself available by email and phone and kindly answered all my questions. I never did drugs or alcohol so I was nervous but also desperate to get any kind of relief.

I would highly recommend his consulting services to prevent misuse that may lead you to think it is not worth trying (been there before). Having someone monitoring your progress and helping you adjust treatment makes a huge difference. I was encouraged to be methodical about finding my dose and get more benefits."

Janet
"Tim is a wonderful educator! I've never met anyone as knowledgeable as he is about Cannabinoids. I wanted to learn the basics, yet he provided me with so much information that I was able to use to make my own decisions about my health. The consulation was awesome, not rushed (he was so patient with all of my questions), and extremely educational. I would recommend him to everyone!"
